Hey there! I'm Primal Instinks, and this is the official website for The No Deo Hero show. My goal is to bring you the most entertaining, unique, and inspiring content I have to offer. I specialize in my own style of wild, weird, and gross humor and stunts, and I also strive to strengthen and inspire others with my open and interactive vlogs.
I enjoy filming videos for a living as an artistic outlet, and my excitement in this hobby grew after my channel was discovered by a cult following who love the esoteric content I produce. Some of these fans became patrons who began paying me to film custom videos as a fun way to support me, and I continue offering the opportunity of video commissions to this day. I also offer access to behind-the-scenes extras on this website and sell my clothing as an exclusive offer to fans interested in financially supporting my show. |

On YouTube, I film retro-scripted comedy skits and regularly update several other playlists which make up my channel as a whole. I'm renowned for my breath-holding talent, where I athletically push my oxygen limit to the max (my longest personal record is 5 minutes and 36 seconds!) and for my simulated stompdown videos, where I pretend to jump my audience for a random reason; a dramatized act which was inspired by the printer-smashing scene from the movie Office Space. I also film workouts at my home gym and other athletic challenges for my fans to enjoy.
Here's some artwork of my show's mascot demonstrating some of what you'll see on my channel. His name is Cheesus Brodent, and he's basically a satirical rat version of me: a primal punk with a lean, unwashed body!

My channel is also known for the creation of two hybrid sports I used to film with my friends: one is called "brethling," which is a form of submission wrestling where you win by restricting your opponent's oxygen supply in order to weaken them and then get them to tap out with a jiu-jitsu hold, and the other is "battle broyale," a combination of boxing and wrestling where you wear protective headgear, bop each other with boxing gloves, and try to tap each other out using submission holds.
Those were a lot of fun to film, but as the friends I started my channel with moved on in life over the years, I decided to continue on solo and keep these videos on my channel for the memories and entertainment they continue to bring.

The pain of not being able to breathe during a strenuous activity like wrestling is very real!
My channel name may be catchy and happen to rhyme, but it's no joke: I don't use deodorant on account of my natural outlook on life, and I named my show after this fact for self-deprecating humor. Because of how open I am about my unique identity, as well as the supportive vlogs I film encouraging others to be open and accepting about themselves, I've had fans tell me they look up to me like a hero, and I humbly accepted their title and named my channel The No Deo Hero in honor of it.
A prominent theme of my show is body odor-related humor, which includes funny and gross scenarios like "the stinkpit" and "stinkshoe trivia." Like the sports matches mentioned above, I used to film scenarios like these with former friends of mine. We had a lot of fun filming those together while time allowed for it, and as someone who doesn't bathe or use deodorant, I continue to independently keep the spirit of it alive with POV stinkpit and stinkshoe skits for my fans to continue to enjoy.

The main inspirations for my content are the daring antics of the Jackass crew and the strange and gross humor of The Ren & Stimpy Show. I'm also inspired by the home-filmed comedy skits of YouTubers like Smosh, the improvised character comedy of prankster Richard Christy, my favorite video games, and parody and satire in shows such as Futurama and South Park. I'm also a fan of cartoons with funny slapstick effects like Looney Tunes.
