Hey everyone! I want to take a moment to give you all my sincerest thanks.
The graph above is from my YouTube channel's Analytics and reveals the total viewership for The No Deo Hero's entire lifetime of six and a half years, from January 2016 to August 2022. As everyone already knows, a lot of friends who were filming with me have since gotten married, moved out of state, or simply don't make time for their friends anymore, and as a result they dropped out from participating with me in the videos I film for my fans. This includes the founding featured friend of my show, T-Wrex, who left at the beginning of March 2021 after getting married. Lord Rubix, another close friend who participated for five years, also quit that same month to pursue a relationship with a girl he had met on a dating app. The reason I'm thanking everyone is because, as the official graph from YouTube above shows, my show is still getting the same amount of views it normally does even after my friends left. Sometimes when fans get used to seeing the same people filming the same great videos together, it won't be the same for them if one or more of those people has to move on and is no longer seen anymore, but I'm very blessed to have a supportive fanbase who continues to stand by me and the show I created! I like to image the scenario as if we were in a rock band: In 2015 I decided I wanted to start a band (a YouTube channel) with my then-best friend T-Wrex, and though reluctant at first, he agreed to the idea. I soon get our friend Lord Rubix to participate with us as well. I'm the lead singer who writes all the songs (the video ideas), schedules all the practice sessions (getting everyone together to film videos for the channel), and corresponds with our fans (via email and video comments) about booking us for performances (filming custom video commissions). I also edit and share all of our music videos and booked gigs (YouTube uploads and behind-the-scenes extras). T-Wrex was the lead guitar player and Lord Rubix was the drummer in this hypothetical scenario (Lord Rubix actually had a drum kit, so it fits!). In 2017, my friend K2 joined the band as our bass player for a while before going on a short hiatus. In 2021, T-Wrex and Lord Rubix quit the band to pursue relationships with the women in their lives. My "band" is now a solo act where I continue performing the same songs (filming the same videos) that I always have for my fans to enjoy, occasionally having other friends of mine fill in for videos that require more than one person. K2 ends up returning and resumes performing with me, even stepping up to fulfill lead guitar duties by integrating himself further into the show by playing crowd favorites (filming stinkpit videos) with me. I guess that means I now sing AND play bass guitar and we're just using a drum machine! I'm thankful to K2 for helping keep the dream alive, especially since events like stinkpit skits and wrestling/brethling matches require more than one person in order to happen. Regardless of where other peoples' lives take them, I'm passionate about continuing to keep the show I created going strong and using the platform I have to continue making a positive impact on the lives of fans from all around the world who enjoy it. Thank you to everyone who continues to watch and support me, especially to those who have been fans since the beginning. It means so much to me and I appreciate it a lot! I have much more in store, so prepare for entertainment galore! 💚 Primal
